FISHERMANS WHARF Sandwich, Kent Fisherman's Wharf riverside apartments are adjacent to the old Toll Bridge on the Quay which was built under the orders of Henry Vlll in 1539. They incorporate part of the old town wall of Sandwich. Pillory Gate Wharf riverside town houses and apartments are on the site of the old Town Gate demolished c1800. This gate was one of several situated along the old town walls which were built over the centuries and completed in 1380 by Richard ll.

The walls were built for protection with the gates allowing access to the town. One of the gates still exists, on the Quay and the walls still provide a very pleasant walk around the old town.

All riverside accommodation is fully equipped and available throughout the year for short and long term rental. Valeting is on a weekly basis with towels and linen provided. All have private parking.

The four town houses and apartments at Pillory Gate have been elegantly furnished, each offering superb accommodation for up to four people. The ground floors of the town houses provide cloakroom, and laundry facilities.

The first floors have beautifully fitted kitchens with breakfast area, fridge freezer, microwave etc. and the best quality glassware and crockery. The spacious lounges have river views with table and chairs on the balcony.

The second floors have two bedrooms and a bathroom with power shower. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated with king-size, double and single beds.
